From the south, please take note of the following construction update:

I-45 is under heavy construction from FM1488 (exit 81) to Loop 336 (exit 84), a distance of about 3 miles. Traffic will back up along (and well before) this section, especially in the afternoons and early evening.  The following alternate route may help. First,  take the SH-242 exit, turn right (East) and go approximately 6 miles to FM-1314. Turn left (North) and continue to Loop 336 (about 6.5 miles). Turn right (East) on Loop 336 and follow the final directions as above. In any event, please allow an extra 30-45 minutes of travel time.
